<p class="text-left>j.jackman is a Berlin-based womenswear line focused on creating sophisticated pieces for the modern professional woman, fairly in Germany.</p> <p class="text-left">Our view on sustainability is multifaceted, bust starts first and foremost with ensuring that fair wages are paid to our seamstresses. We currently work with three independent seamstresses who earn 2x the German minimum wage to sew our garments in Berlin. </p> <p class="text-left">Beyond that, we source only locally produced fabrics - mainly from small family-run mills in France, Italy, and Germany. For our organic range, we use organic cotton from either Turkey or France. Lastly, we design classic pieces meant to last. From the types of stitches used to the classic styles - our goal is to create pieces women will love now and in ten years from now.</p>
